I feel that my social work background has given me unique skills in helping couples prepare for the exciting journey of marriage. Although I love officiating weddings, I am much more concerned with the journey that comes afterward. I believe strongly that preparation and managing expectations from the start will greatly increase your chances of having a healthy marriage.

If you choose the option that includes coaching, we will have 3 one hour sessions, all of which will be spent reviewing and discussing the PREPARE-ENRICH inventory, of which I am a certified facilitator (see www.prepare-enrich.com for more details). Prepare is an evidence based premarital inventory. You and your partner will take the inventory online and after your answers are analyzed, we will discuss the results. Coaching is not therapy. My role in the coaching sessions is not to dig deep into the recesses of your family of origin issues, but to be a facilitator and to hopefully bring up some topics and issues you have not thought about.

"When I met LeAnn I was immediately comfortable, her warm smile and pleasant demeanor were very welcoming. Initially, we had not budgeted for the coaching package, but my fiance and I agreed that indeed the most valuable part of the wedding is not the ceremony, but the relationship. We met for our coaching sessions and they were incredible and certainly worth it, invaluable in fact. Both of us gained so much from our coaching through the PREPARE inventory. We learned to communicate more effectively, how to love more deeply, how to listen, and to understand some of the challenges that we would have to work on in our future. The coaching sessions were such an eye opener for us both to discover each other on a deeper level, which was challenging but LeAnn helped us to get there. The day of the ceremony was simply perfect. LeAnn knew us well and was the only person I would have wanted to guide us into this sacred union. She was so poised during the ceremony and told stories that helped our guests get to know us better. There was no coincidence that we found LeAnn Gardner to help us on our journey to marriage we are forever grateful for her work to help us lay the foundation for a wonderful life in marriage." ~ Laura Baldino, Charleston, SC

"We were very, very fortunate to have LeAnn officiate our wedding. She provided us with a beautiful, heartfelt, and unique-to-us ceremony. Even though we were coordinating long distance, she made the entire process personal. She spent time getting to know us and included personal anecdotes in the ceremony. She was always open to our suggestions, which made it such a perfect day for us. LeAnn also has a calming effect and was able to help us stay organized in the rehearsal and on the wedding day. I had so many compliments on what a great wedding we had and so much of that can be attributed to LeAnn. I HIGHLY recommend her to any bride and groom." ~ Katie Hang, Austin, TX

"Due to the purchase of a new home, our daughter and son-in-law moved up their wedding date. Our scheduled family vacation to the Isle of Palms became the perfect venue. With only 2 weeks to plan, I began my search for someone to perform the service. We wanted a Christian ceremony and my search brought us to Reverend LeAnn Gardner. She was perfect!! LeAnn was a pleasure! Such a delight, professional and very relational! The service was beautiful! Lauren and Bryan were thrilled with the way she incorporated their sweet story into the vows. Our God is an amazing God! A very happy and blessed Mother of the Bride!"
~ Luann Trehern, Mother of the Bride, Smyrna, Georgia
